The IONIQ5 EV from Hyundai Motor India, has finally been launched by Shahrukh Khan at Auto Expo 2023 for Rs. 44.95 lakh (ex-showroom). In India, this price will only be available for the first 500 units. The EV is an electric vehicle that has dimensions of 4,635 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,625 mm in height. It is built on the Electric-Global Modular Platform. The wheelbase of the four-wheeler is 3,000mm. The EV, the company's second electric vehicle following the Hyundai Kona Electric, has exterior paint options in Gravity Gold Matte, Optic White, and Midnight Black Pearl. It is a standout BEV with a sleek appearance and sharp lines. The unusual style of this BEV is inspired by the striking pixel character and headlamps with parametric pixel LEDs that define the car's face. The four-wheeler features an Active air flap (AAF) that, when closed, enhances aerodynamics and, when opened, cools moving parts. The clamshell hood is seamless and smooth. The alloy wheels with a 20-inch parametric pixel pattern help the car's aerodynamic performance.

Interior : In terms of interior features, the new Ioniq 5 EV has an eight-speaker Bose audio system with six distinct types of ambient noises from nature and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The flat floor, small cockpit design, sliding centre console, and sliding glove box give it a futuristic appearance. The Ioniq 5's eco-processed leather seat upholstery and dark pebble grey interiors are standout features. The dashboard and door are composed of soft-touch materials, and the armrest, seat cushions, and steering wheel are all decorated with pixel patterns.

More About Ioniq 5 : The Hyundai Ioniq 5 has a rear-mounted electric motor that produces 214 horsepower and 350 Nm, as well as a 72.6 kWh battery pack. According to ARAI certification, it has a single charge range of 631 kilometres. The Ioniq 5 also supports 800V fast charging, which takes 18 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%. At the 16th Indian Auto Expo, Hyundai Motor India also debuted the new Ioniq 6 EV in addition to the Ioniq 5 EV crossover. The Hyundai Ioniq 6 has two battery options available worldwide: a 53kWh and a 77kWh. In contrast to the top-spec AWD vehicles, the entry-level models have a RWD arrangement with a single motor that produces 228bhp of maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque.
